To all Life Members, players, members, sponsors and friends of DFNC.
Just a brief note to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We trust 2025 is everything that you hope and that DFNC will continue to lead the way in local football. The last decade has been a ‘golden era’ and one that many other clubs would envy.
2024 was fruitful ‘on- field’ year marked with another Senior Grand Final, the Reserves playing finals football and our Under : 19 team making gains as the season unfolded ( how could we forget the team’s dazzling win over Langwarrin in Round: 18).
As all members know, 2024 has also been a difficult year in other ways with the sad passing of our former members Les Rowler, Peter Johnstone, Brian Moiler, John Kerr, Dave Williams, Gil Matlock and Jack Bateman. Our thoughts go to their families and friends; their contribution to building and strengthening the club will be remembered.
Finally, thank you to the many friends/members who assisted with providing information and photographs for the club’s history articles during the past year.
