Dromana Football & Netball Club mourn the passing of long time Life Member(1992) and Ex Club President(1988-1996) Les Rowler.
Les was a staunch supporter of the club over many years commencing when his son Andrew began playing and continuing afterwards.
He was President during a period when the club struggled to produce wins but his efforts and contribution managed to keep the club going through those difficult times
In latter years he became known as the ‘Umpires Advisor’ for his boundary side commentary on the umpires performance.
Though been in ill health over the last few years Les would still attend games and nothing pleased him more than to see Dromana win.
His presence will be missed around the club.
The club extends its heartfelt condolences to Pam and family.
